Instructions for Presenters

For all poster presenters

  • The duration of the poster presentation is 100 minutes.
  • Poster presentations will be held in Zoom breakout rooms. The presentation number will be displayed in each breakout room. Please enter the assigned room to make your presentation.
  • You may enter the breakout room 30 minutes before your poster presentation.
  • Presentation slides can be in any format (any size and any number of slides are possible) that can be shared in a Zoom meeting.
  • Since the presentation in this meeting constitutes a public transmission, please take special care to comply with the Copyright Act and other laws and regulations.
  • Note that the breakout room will be closed after the poster presentation time and the presentation will be forced to end.

For all oral (online) presenters

  • The time allotted to each presenter is 18 minutes, including the discussion time. The presentation may last no longer than 13 minutes.
  • The time allotted to each Invited/Young Scientist Award presenter is 36 minutes, including the discussion time.
  • Oral presentations will be held in online format with Zoom meeting.
  • Please keep the use of animation effects and video files to a minimum; they may not display smoothly in Zoom.
  • Since the presentation in this meeting constitutes a public transmission, please take special care to comply with the Copyright Act and other laws and regulations.
  • Please prepare your presentation slides in a format that can be shared in the Zoom meeting.
  • Please enter the Zoom meeting room by 10 minutes before the start of the session in which you give a presentation. You may enter the meeting room 30 minutes before the session starts.
  • For sessions where you will be giving a presentation, please change the displayed name in Zoom to "presentation number + full name (affiliation)".
  • If you are unable to enter the Zoom meeting due to connection problems, etc., please contact both the Slack "#01_trouble" channel and the organizing committee (molsci2021[at]molsci.jp) with your presentation number, name, affiliation, and details of the problem.
  • During the presentation, please share the screen, unmute your microphone, and turn on the camera by yourself. To prevent feedback, please use a headset or similar device as much as possible. When you finish your presentation, please stop sharing, mute your microphone, and turn off the camera as soon as possible.
