Welcome to the 7^th Annual Meeting of Japan Society for Molecular Science in Kyoto.

The Annual Meeting is the largest academic event hosted by Japan Society for Molecular Science. The Symposium on Molecular Structure and Dynamics (Bunshi-Kozo Toronkai in Japanese), the predecessor of the Annual Meeting, was founded in 1964. Thus, the “Annual Meeting” has played a central role in providing a common ground for discussions among the scientists in this field for a half century. We are pleased to host this Annual Meeting in Kyoto in the year of the commemorative 50th anniversary of the “Annual Meeting”.

The Annual Meeting will include presentations in physical chemistry, chemical physics, and various related interdisciplinary fields. We are quite sure that this Meeting in Kyoto will also serve as a meeting for many presentations of excellent and cutting-edge works, and promote scientific interactions among the scientists and students in the field of Molecular Science.
