Abstract

We have succeeded in isolation of the C4h isomer of 1,2-naphthalocyanine (1,2-Nc-C4h) and the electrochemicaloxidation of K[Co(1,2-Nc-C4h)(CN)2] with TPPBr(tetraphenylphosphoniumbromide) has been found to give partially oxidized crystals having one-dimensional chain of partially overlapping naphthalocyaninerings. The room temperature conductivity measured along the conducting axis is about 0 3S/cm and the temperature dependence shows weakly semiconducting behavior (Ea=0 028eV)
