要旨

励起子は、光によって荷電子帯の電子を伝導体に励起したとき荷電子帯の正孔と伝導電子とのクーロン相互作用による束縛状態である。励起子はお互いに相互作用し励起子分子を形成する。本研究では、量子モンテカルロ法により多層二次元平面における励起子分子の結合エネルギーを計算する。

ABSTRACT

The exciton is a bound state due to the Coulomb interaction between a electron and a positive hole. In this study, we calculate the binding energy of excitonic molecules, which consist of a few excitons, in an ideal two-dimensional layer by quantum Monte Carlo method.
