Two kinds of electrically conducting neutral radical crystals were obtained by electrochemical oxidation of dicyano(2,3-naphthalocyaninato)cobalt(III) anion [Co(2,3-Nc)(CN)2]- (Nc unit). As for the molecular arrangement of the Nc units, the intermolecular π-π interactions gave rise to a two-dimensional sheet and a three-dimensional network, respectively. The electrical resistivity at room temperature of the former was found to be 10(OHM)cm (pellet), while the latter to be 1(OHM)cm (single crystal). |
