The ChTM-TTP salts with linear anions show antiferromagnetic phase transitions in the low temperature charge localized states. The radical cation salts of ChTM-TTP with tetrahedral anions have been prepared to investigate the effect of anion shape (ChTM-TTP)2GaCl4 shows metallic behavior above 150 K and goes to an insulating state. An antiferromagnetic phase transition has been observed at around 32 K. The ReO4 salt is a 1:1 salt with a strong dimerization structure, and shows semiconducting behavior below room temperature. The tetrahedral anions give rise to strongly dimerized structures. |
