This work was concerned on the high resolution spectroscopy of the TiN radical. The laser−induced dispersed fluorescence (DF) spectra of the A2PAIr−X2SIGUMA+ transition of TiN were observed. The relative intensity of the DF spectra was analyzed by use of the RKR potentials to determine the R−dependence of Re(R) as Re(R)∝{1−0 482(29)R/Å}. The electronic structure of the relevant states were analyzed asfollows; The Fermi contact term, dipolar parameter for the X2SIGUMA+sate,spin-orbit interaction constant for the A2PAIr state and Re(R) were analyzed simultaneously to evaluate the R−dependences of the 4s(Ti) and 4p(Ti) atomic characters in 9 siguma orbital and 4p(Ti) and 3d(Ti) atomic characters in 4 pai orbital of the TiN radical. |
